Why choose Organic?
1. It's Better for the Planet
Designed to respect nature and to enhance the health of soils, water and air, organic farming is leading the way on sustainability.
'In fact, if Europe’s farmland all followed organic principles, agricultural emissions could drop by 40-50% by 2050, with plenty to feed the growing population healthy diets.' - Soil Association
We want a future with a safe climate. Organic farmers don't rely on fossil fuel derived fertilisers to provide nutrition in the soil. Instead they build fertility naturally. This means that we have soils that absorb more water and carbon and can hold more water, which is better for the environment.
2. Quality & Potency
Organic hair care means high quality and potency and therefore better results for your hair! Did you know that organically produced crops were found with up to 68% more antioxidants than non-organic? - Soil Association.
Transparency in our ingredient sourcing and product formulation is the cornerstone of our philosophy. We use the highest grade, certified organic ingredients for their superior performance and health benefits. Our expert formulations are bursting with nutrients, vitamins and anti-oxidants, to nourish your hair naturally. This promotes long term health and beauty.
3. It's better for Nature & Wildlife
Conventional farming use pesticides which have caused a decline in wildlife.
'41% of Britain’s wildlife species have declined since 1970' - Soil Association.
However, Organic farms are havens for wildlife and provide homes for bees, birds and butterflies with an average of 30% more biodiversity! We work with nature, not against it.
'Because organic farmers rely on healthy ecosystems to control pests and protect their soils, they tend to farm in a way that encourages wildlife, like planting trees, ‘beetle banks’ and wildflower margins, and digging ponds around their fields. This means organic farms are more ecologically diverse.' - Soil Association. This is great for nature.
What's more is conventional hair care products mean harmful chemicals get washed down the drain and damage the water for wildlife. By choosing organic, you help to protect wildlife an
4. And It's Better for People
There is a vital link between the health of our soil, plants, animals and ultimately us.
'Organic farming joins the dots between our own health and the health of our planet, our animals and our wildlife '- Soil Association.
Choosing certified organic means:
- No Chemicals
- No GM ingredients
- No Parabens or Phthalates
- No Animal Testing
- Recyclable, Sustainable Packaging
- No Synthetic Colours, Dyes or Fragrances
- More Resilient Farms
The hard work organic farmers put into caring for their crops pays off in the quality of the ingredients they produce, which in turn provides our customers with exceptional high quality products - without compromise.
